We are PUBLIC ACCESS BC, a not-for-profit coalition aimed at informing the Canadian public of the Natural Resource Road Act, a new bill that will effectively privatize the control to access to British Columbia’s crown land (90% of its land mass)!! |

Understand that, at our expense and against our interest, the BC Government is giving access control of crown lands to lumber, tourist, ranch, mining and oil interests. THIS IS HAPPENING NOW!
This bill ENABLES privatization of access to our public lands. The control, maintenance, and development of our Forestry roads will be passed on to ranchers, outback recreation groups, towns, environmentalists, logging companies: just about anybody trying to make a buck!
All roads must have the access controlled by someone, and if they can’t control it, there will be no access.
You and I must work together to not only stop this bill but to ensure it never appears in any form again by establishing once and for all, a right to public access.
